Chris Brown Pleads Not Guilty!!??!!

 

 

Wearing all black, Chris Brown arrived to court today at 3:25p.m. for his arraignment. He was accompanied by his mother who was seen smiling in court along with his bodyguards and his lawyer Mark Geragos. Hollyscoop was inside the courtroom when Chris entered his “not guilty” plea. His mood was very somber and he could barely be heard when he spoke to the Judge. Brown pleaded not guilty on both counts including criminal threats and assault after he was charged with allegedly beating his ex-girlfriend Rihanna. After the arraignment Rihanna’s attorney, Donald Etra held a press conference outside the courthouse stating that Rihanna will cooperate with the court if she is ordered to and she would be pleased “if it [the case] were over quickly.” Hollyscoop spoke to Etra after the press conference where he told us that Rihanna is still in Barbados spending time with her family. When asked if Rihanna and Chris Brown are still in contact, he told Hollyscoop: “I don’t comment on my clients personal life.” Chris is due back in court on April 29, 2009.

Andre 3000 Arrested Doing 109 MPH!!!

Outkast’s Andre 3000 (real name: Andre Benjamin) was arrested near Atlanta Saturday for driving his 2007 Porsche Carrera at such a high speed that police called him “an accident waiting to happen,” according to Atlanta’s WSB-TV, TMZ and AllHipHop.com. A police officer told the station that the MC was clocked at 109 MPH on Saturday morning, significantly over the 65-mph speed limit, on Interstate 75, and was arrested for the danger he posed. “Traveling that fast along 75, you’re passing people as if they’re standing still,” Henry County Police Captain Jason Bolton told the station. “It’s an accident waiting to happen.” The MC was released after posting $1,200 bail, according to TMZ. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 29.

There’s been a lot of speculation as to whether or not Rihanna will testify against Chris Brown come April 6th. Rihanna’s lawyer Donald Etra said she could wind up testifying in the felony assault case, but only if she’s required to. “She is planning to do everything that the law requires her to do,” Etra tells Us Weekly. “If she is required to testify, she will do so.“

LIL Wayne Beats 1 Of His Cases

 

Lil’ Wayne is officially off the hook for the painkillers and the weed cops say they found in Georgia — but dude is still up to his tattooed neck in legal problems. A Fulton County judge dismissed felony drug charges against Weezy yesterday after ruling he was the subject of an illegal search. Wayne was arrested back in 2006 after Atlanta police said they found unmarked bottles of hydrocodone and Xanax along with two marijuana joints in a hotel room. Now that he’s in the clear in Georgia, Wayne can focus on the weapons charges in New York and felony drug charges in Arizona.
